UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a wholly owned subsidiary of UOB, based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of new services.
About the role
This role requires the incumbent to manage and oversee KYC and CDD requirements in customer onboarding and periodic reviews, focusing on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to AML / CFT & Sanctions.
Responsibilities
Support the Team Manager in managing the AML CDD strategic program for Group Wholesale Banking customers.
Review and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes for operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with Group AML/CFT policies.
Update local SOP and workflow processes for operational effectiveness.
Conduct Anti Financial Crime-related training for the team.
Identify and escalate potential risks and share best risk management practices.
Ensure SLAs are met by the teams.
Review and approve due diligence profiles for complex and high-risk customers.
Assist in managing queries during audits for favorable outcomes.
Support KYC teams to fulfill CDD requirements in line with Bank and Regulatory standards.
Ensure KYC teams achieve satisfactory scores for Key Operational Risk Indicator metrics.
Provide oversight to ensure alignment with the bank's risk management principles.
Assist in FACTCA and CRS reporting matters.
Requirements
Proven experience in KYC and financial crimes risk management.
Skilled in analyzing AML CDD and transaction surveillance issues.
Experience managing people and relationships.
Ability to advise senior stakeholders with confidence on due diligence requirements.
Commitment to the Bank's objectives against financial crimes with integrity and sound judgment.
AML certification (e.g., CAMS) is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
