About the roleJoin SJ Circle Sdn Bhd as a Warehouse Senior Officer based in Kulim Kedah.
This full-time role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy warehouse and distribution centre, ensuring efficient and effective management of our inventory and logistics processes.
What you'll be doing
Manage and plan warehouse operations.
Provide and implement necessary SOPs for warehouse operations.
Ensure count accuracy of goods inventory received and issued through work discipline, cycle audits, and stock takes.
Monitor stock levels, consignment & expired products, and keep stock control systems up to date.
Conduct yearly and periodic inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity in the warehouse.
Ensure shipment delivery is on track and according to the planned schedule.
Manage and review department's performance based on quality, delivery performance, cost, and allocation.
Drive process improvement and methods to increase overall warehouse efficiency.
Maintain high levels of housekeeping and safety practices.
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of competent warehouse staff.
Oversee security and operation of the warehouse involving incoming and outgoing goods.
Plan and ensure optimal utilization of warehouse storage space.
Ensure all corrective actions taken are carried out based on CARs raised.
Perform any other jobs or duties as required by superior.
What we're looking for
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Warehouse Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior warehousing or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or distribution industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and best practices in the warehousing industry.
