Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff.
Organize and keep inventory and storage areas in order.
Ensure goods are received, stored, and shipped on time.
Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks.
Check equipment and ensure safety rules are followed.
Track inventory and report any shortages or issues.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety rules.
Keep accurate records of all warehouse activities.
Requirements:
Strong leadership skills to set goals, motivate the team, and solve problems.
Good communication skills — both speaking and writing.
Ability to work well with others and manage projects.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of warehouse best practices and standards.
Familiarity with inventory control, bookkeeping, and logistics.
Able to use inventory management software.
Physically fit, with the ability to stand or walk for long periods.
Set quality standards and inspect inventory and packaging before shipping.
Plan and organize inventory to improve efficiency.
Monitor the supply chain and assign tasks to employees based on company schedules.
