We are hiring for the position of Well Service Supervisor to be based offshore in Peninsular Malaysia on a one-year contract. The Well Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating well service operations, ensuring they are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and industry standards.
Supervise well intervention and integrity operations at the worksite, following approved programs and standards (e.g., PPGUA, U-Image, WIMS, WIAG) to ensure personnel, property, and environmental safety while meeting project goals with minimal operating costs.
Ensure the Permit to Work (PTW) is applied for and closed properly by confirming that hazards are understood, mitigations are in place, and the job is conducted safely.
To make immediate decisions on technical issues during well intervention and integrity operations (e.g., well control or platform emergencies) by assessing the situation, conducting risk assessments, and taking quick corrective actions to secure the well safely and minimize downtime.
Evaluate well intervention and integrity programs for technical feasibility, and recommend best practices to improve efficiency, reduce operational issues, and optimize costs.
Qualifications, experience, and skills required:
Minimum Degree in Engineering/Science or any related fields.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience as team leader in Wells Intervention and Services operation (preferably in Malaysian water). Experience working as Well Services supervisor will be an advantage.
Experienced in coil tubing, wireline, slickline, vessel workboat operation, and/or Integrity Engineering & Operation.
Possess valid IWCF Level 4
Possess valid BOSIET/HUET/EDB certification
Good English proficiency (verbal/writing) and good communication skills
Possess basic computer skills (MS Office or equivalent)#J-18808-Ljbffr
