Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for the administrative and coordination between the workshop office, shop floor, safety committee, and related government body.
Role & Responsibilities:
To assist the Workshop Engineer and Storekeeper on their daily job basis.
To check and maintain sufficient minimum stock level for tools and consumables.
To ensure all workshop equipment is in good operating condition and preventive maintenance is well carried out.
To review related documents and verify that the product used for pressure vessel construction is in compliance with code & standards including Material Test Certificate, report, and film of Radiography Test (RT), dished head inspection report.
To record data related to pressure vessel construction including vessel's serial number, model, material specification, identification, heat number, and clutch door allocation.
To carry out weldment inspection, dimension check, quantity, and quality check for fabricated products as per requirements specified in the code & standards and design drawings; and to provide feedback to the workshop engineer & design department.
To ensure measuring equipment is maintained in valid calibration annually.
To arrange and coordinate with the design department & inspection parties for quality inspection (radiography test / JKKP / 3rd party).
To keep a good record of quality manual, control processes, and manufacturing data reports.
To generate manufacturing data reports and quality records for client submission.
To liaise with DOSH Putrajaya pertaining to pressure vessel licensing.
To arrange and schedule yearly factory audit inspections with DOSH Selangor.
To maintain the workers' record of identity (IC/passport), working permit, phone number, and other information.
To maintain & uphold the workshop safety and tidiness in compliance with OSHA and 5S.
To prepare, arrange, and coordinate any event, training, and documentation pertaining to safety and health matters.
To act as first-aider upon any emergency or health matter.
To assist & advise the workshop engineer and safety committee on any safety and health issues that arise.
To receive & dispatch delivery in the absence of the storekeeper.

Education and Skill Levels:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
1-2 years of working experience.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BOFA, Welding Inspection, CSWIP, NDT.#J-18808-Ljbffr
