Purpose of the Job
To do pump service & repair, including but not limited to disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of pumps.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
To ensure all work in the workshop and customer/supplier site is carried out in the most effective, economical, and technical way.
To create a service and repair quotation based on Sulzer rates.
To create work schedule for each service and repair job.
To be able to use precise measurement tools.
To manage all workshop tools and equipment in good condition and calibrated.
To supervise technicians and 3rd party manpower for overhaul and repair activity at the workshop.
To perform dynamic balancing on pump rotor in accordance with ISO 1940.
To perform QAQC checks on the service & repair scope.
To perform safety walk and observation based on Sulzer requirements.
To ensure all work at the workshop is carried out according to the time frame.
To provide technical support in the workshop and on-site if required.
To compile all technical reports prior to sending to the client.
To ensure all service and repair work is within Sulzer quality standards.
To assist the superior with other matters relating to service & repair.
