Job Description The Test Equipment Engineering Manager will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of test equipment used in product validation and quality assurance.
This role involves leading a team of engineers, ensuring operational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support testing processes.
Manage and mentor a team of test equipment engineers.
Oversee the maintenance and calibration of existing test equipment.
Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and meets required standards.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
Evaluate and optimize testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Implement improvements to enhance testing throughput and reduce cycle times.
Ensure documentation for test procedures and equipment is up-to-date.
Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to align testing strategies with product goals.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights on testing capabilities and requirements.
Manage projects related to test equipment upgrades and process improvements.
Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects.
Monitor project progress and report updates to stakeholders.
Ensure all testing processes and equipment comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Implement quality control measures to guarantee the reliability of test results.
Provide technical support for test equipment issues and failures.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure high uptime and reliability of testing equipment.
Requirement: Above 7 years related experience in Equipment and Test Engineering  with at least 3 years in a management role.
Good communication skill
