About the role
FFS LUXURY is seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic organisation.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time remote work position, allowing employees to Work From Home after probation.Employees are required to attend the company premises twice a week: once for a meeting and once for working on-site.What you'll be doing Prepare accurate and comprehensive accounting reports, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.Generating comprehensive financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to facilitate informed decision-making.Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.Providing financial analysis and recommendations to management.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall financial health of the business.Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices.Preparing and reporting accounts to the director.Managing payroll, including the preparation of staff salaries and commissions after thorough review.Handling service tax preparation (SST).Assisting with audits and stock counts.
Requirements:Proficiency in preparing balance sheets and profit and loss statements.Experience in reporting accounts to directors.Expertise in bank reconciliation, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP).Competence in payroll management, including the preparation of staff salaries and commissions.Knowledge of service tax preparation (SST).Ability to assist with audits.Capability to assist in stock counting or inventory management.What we're looking for A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the financial services industryProficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlinesEffective communication and collaboration skillsA proactive and solution-oriented mindsetWhat we offer
