Assistant Manager (Compensation & Benefit)

What will be your task:
Conduct market analysis and participate in salary surveys to ensure equity and competitiveness.
Develop, implement, and manage reward programs, including conducting annual reviews of salary structures and overseeing the annual merit increase process.
Responsible for developing and reviewing annual budgets for salaries, benefits, year-end bonuses, increments, and other incentives ensuring alignment with employee demographics' needs.
Coordinate and monitor the company medical and insurance programs and manage the process of the annual renewals, communications, and budgets.
Assist the recruitment team with pay structure and promotion recommendations for high potentials.
Stay informed about updates in government regulations, legislation, and trends in compensation and benefits.
Verify that compensation and benefits practices comply with current laws and regulations.
Gather and analyze data for market benchmarking and comprehensive analysis.
Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
Manage and engage in initiatives related to compensation and benefits.
Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to optimize benefits offerings.
Handle end-to-end process for EP and PVP applications, renewal, and cancellations.
Ensure timely submission of required documents and accurate data entry into government systems (MYXpats Portal, ESD).
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs regulations, LHDN.
Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and policies and advise the organization accordingly.
Assist in resolving issues related to visa rejection, appeals, or delays.
What you must have to apply:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
At least 7 years' experience in a C&B role, with good knowledge in managing expatriate.
Experienced in developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Served as a liaison between the organization and external authorities, such as ESD and Immigration, to resolve escalated issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to conflict resolution.#J-18808-Ljbffr
