We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team asAssistant Manager – Corporate Secretarialbased inJohor Bahru, Malaysia .
Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our corporate services and its growth.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure strict adherence to internal policies/SOPs by team members.
Identify and highlight potential risks to Senior Managers and Directors and recommend/take appropriate actions when necessary.
Ensure timely billing (including the capture of all OPEs incurred) and collections.
Ensure best practice of corporate governance and compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
Ensure that all clients' documents/records are properly filed in the statutory records at all times and perform proper housekeeping of clients' records.
Participate in recruitment interviews/exercises.
Conduct trainings or facilitate trainings as and when required/requested.
Meet potential clients and prepare proposals and quotations for new clients/prospects.
Provide timely dissemination of information/messages from Senior Management to team members.
Assist/support Senior Manager and Directors in their absence.
Ensure acknowledgment of receipt of client's request/queries/correspondences within 24 hours and answer not later than 2 working days.
Any other tasks as assigned by Management.
Key requirements:
At least 6 - 7 years relevant working experience.
Possess ICSA or bachelor's degree in Corporate Administration.
Familiar with Companies Acts, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, CS Guidelines, and other related laws and regulations.
Supervisory experience or managed a team/group with at least 5 – 8 staff members.
Good communication skills with a strong command of both spoken and written English; able to work independently with leadership qualities/skills as well as being a good team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
Able to identify and demonstrate clear comprehension of customers and organizational needs.
Punctual and responsible; accountable and does not allow personal or organizational issues to interfere with customer needs.
Committed and result-driven.
