About the Role
Work as an internal SAP Development & Integration consultant, supporting enhancement and rollout projects.
Design, develop, and customize solutions based on SAP ABAP, PI/PO and BTP to fulfill business requirements.
This includes creating reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
Collaborate with the Project Manager or Delivery Lead to estimate effort and formulate project plans.
Work closely with functional and business teams to comprehend requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
Develop and fine-tune ABAP code in accordance with AIA coding standards and guidelines.
Document technical designs and specifications.
Participate in Peer Code Reviews as an integral part of the quality assurance process.
Provide hyper-care support and transfer knowledge to the support team.
Maintain the development and integration inventory list, along with other live documents, ensuring they are always up-to-date.
Assist in the RFP process or in the evaluation of vendors/products.
Serve as the escalation point for daily support issues.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in either SAP ABAP, SAP Process Orchestration (PO), or both.
Experience with SAP HANA-based development and Business Technology Platform is highly desirable.
Familiarity with non-SAP integration platforms such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or Workato will be considered a plus.
Proven track record of participating in at least 5 end-to-end system implementation or rollout projects.
Up-to-date knowledge of SAP systems, including deployment and integration.
Prior experience in the insurance industry will be advantageous.
