Additionally, individuals with tooling experience but limited molding knowledge are also encouraged to apply, as we place a strong emphasis on hands-on expertise and a willingness to learn.
Lead Mold Transfer Projects:
Act as the main contact for mold transfer projects, receiving molds, jigs, robot chucks, and all related documents from group companies. Ensure all documents are properly filed and updated.Testing Schedule Management:
Plan and manage the testing schedule based on customer requirements, ensuring deadlines are met, in charge of the approval samples submission. Allocate machines for testing and collaborate with production teams to balance the schedule.Re-Transfer Document Review:
Review documents provided by the originating company prior to mold transfer. Confirm material compatibility with CPJ's production and raise procurement needs if necessary.Mold ability Testing and Reporting:
Conduct mold ability tests, document testing results, and analyze defects. Develop solutions and establish stable production conditions. Create comprehensive test reports for internal reference.Cross-Department Communication:
Collaborate with sales and other departments to address technical issues and negotiate with customers when necessary. Clearly explain testing results and quality concerns to non-technical personnel.Measurement and Quality Support:
Support the quality control team with measurement methods and inspection tools. Ensure that samples meet customer standards before shipment.Project Management:
Manage all aspects of engineering changes, mold adjustments, and customer-driven modifications. Ensure all changes are documented and filed, and issue relevant internal notices (e.g., Engineering Change Notice etc.)Mass Production Transfer:
Organize and lead meetings to hand over projects from engineering to production once testing is complete. Transfer all materials, documents, and insights to the production team.Material Management Over New Projects
Oversee material usage during testing and ensure seamless handover of materials to the production team.Qualification & Experience
Technical or mechanical education background / related technical or equivalent experience.3-5 years of project management experience in a related field is preferred.Proficiency in reading and understanding 2D and 3D drawings.Proficiency in MS Office especially Microsoft ExcelPrior experience in the plastic manufacturing industry / precision tooling.Strong knowledge of tooling structures.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex projects from start to finish.Proficiency in CAD software (Solid works) to design mechanical components for manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic tooling and equipment used in mass production.Ability to understand and review project costs and margin requirements.
