SCORE EPCC is a Bintulu based Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning turnkey project management specialist. We are a CIDB Grade 7 company to provide 360 degrees services and support for our clients seeking to set up and operate factories in Malaysia under the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy.
Job Description:
Lead day-to-day finance and treasury operations & supervise a team of staff;
Finance
Accountable for the day-to-day financial activities, overseeing the accounts payables and accounts receivables, highlighting and prompting Senior Manager on key findings;
To prepare and present timely accounts payables and accounts receivables aging reports and to review and improve on entity's reporting format;
Preparation & review of cash flow projections, advising senior manager and management on key concern areas;
Treasury
Review RC Gen for payment upload for M2E and ensure that bank reconciliation done monthly;
Review payment voucher, receiving voucher and ensure its correct accounting entries;
To ensure strict adherence of Company policies and procedures in respect of financial operations, management programs and activities as well as to formulate new policies / procedures to be in line with the Company's goals;
To ensure that all activities relating to the functions of Finance & Treasury are in compliance with the relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards, to ensure that statutory accounts are prepared in accordance with accounting standards & generally acceptable accounting policies;
To establish, develop and maintain a disciplined, well-trained and highly motivated Finance & Treasury team in line with our core values;
Perform any other duties or responsibilities that are assigned by superior.
To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting (with minimum 5 years relevant experience) or Minimum Diploma in Accounting (with minimum 10 years relevant experience).
Prior supervisory experience in construction and EPCC industry.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles.
Strong planning and driving execution for results.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Strategic thinking, business acumen and entrepreneurship.
Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
