Sime Darby Holdings Berhad Job Responsibilities: - IT Security: Develop and implement the organization's IT security policies and procedures.
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
Manage and monitor security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and security technologies to proactively address potential risks.
Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the stability and performance of the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT requirements and align technology solutions with business goals.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits to assess and verify compliance.
Assist in planning and execute security education and awareness program.
Participate in key IT projects as requested by the Lead.
Any other related work as requested by the Lead to support achievement of the IT security and operations strategies and objectives.
Job Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the areas of d elivering key IT operational initiatives, i.e. Tech/Network refresh, w orking with IT Shared Services provider in ensuring support in areas such as Infrastructure, e ndpoint, Service Desk, AD/M365 and workplace services and IT commercial, tender and vendor management.
ITIL 4 Foundation certified is desirable.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization.
Experience with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills with written and spoken English is a must.
