The PRC Assistant Manager completes the voice of all the public relations and corporate communications initiatives, which are aimed to increase top-of-mind-recall of the Malaysia Healthcare brand regionally and internationally.
Hence, the PRC Assistant Manager has to be a great storyteller.
Role Description
Internal and External Communication
Assist in developing and executing Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC communications, engagement and branding related activities in a timely and effective manner, to create and enhance a positive brand image of Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC amongst all stakeholders, regulators and Government.
Execute communication of key messages through various media platforms such as print, electronic and online.
Assist in promoting Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC's achievements, activities and events of significance and impact.
Assist in expanding the general visibility of Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC amongst the stakeholders, Government and the public regionally and internationally.
Any other duties as assigned.
Social Media and Digital Assets Management
Assist in content preparation and all written materials for social media and digital assets to ensure quality of content to enhance brand reputation.
Ensure timely and accurate postings of Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC's latest news and special announcements on all social media and digital assets.
Any other duties as assigned.
Media and Management
Participate in planning, implementing and managing Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC's media campaign to ensure optimal publicity on its events/initiatives through various media channels i.e., print, electronic and online.
Produce and proof-read written materials to be issued to media, such as press releases, speeches and fact sheets, to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Assist in managing requests for interviews or enquiries from the media/ publishing houses.
Assist in organization of press conferences and media briefings for Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC.
Any other duties as assigned.
Branding, Advertising & Promotions
Assist in executing external communications, events, advertising and promotions.
Execute branding and content strategy in line with Malaysia Healthcare & MHTC's brand positioning.
Execute based on advice of Manager and Head of Comms on the best platform for external communications activities relating to events, advertising and promotions.
Coordinate production of branding collaterals such as brochures, buntings and banners, and other promotional materials etc.
Any other duties as assigned.
Reputation and Crisis Management
Monitor news daily and compile it for dissemination to the Management, flag any issues that may trigger or develop into a crisis or reputational risk.
Manage media queries and prepare media statement(s) as and when required.
Always establish and maintain good rapport with members of the media.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Advertising/Media, Mass Communications, journalism, marketing, business or a related discipline from recognised universities/institutions.
Minimum 5 years of corporate communications/public relations experience preferably in a corporate/public service/GLC environment.
Excellent and creative writing skill in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese for internal and external communications, including press releases, speeches, letters, branding and advertising materials.
A great storyteller.
Ability to grasp and understand different subject matters and conduct effective research for writing meaningful and compelling content.
Possess good organizational and time management skills.
Well-versed in the latest advertising/promotion/marketing/soc-med trends, technologies and methodologies in the relevant fields.#J-18808-Ljbffr
