Assistant Manager, Sustainability and Corporate PerformanceThe Assistant Manager in Sustainability & Corporate Performance will support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and corporate performance strategies within the CIMA Group of Companies (CIMA).
This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure environmental compliance, enhance sustainability practices, and improve overall corporate performance, with a specific focus on monitoring and managing the corporate performance of the CIMA to meet Annual Operating Plan Targets.
Job Responsibilities
Corporate Performance Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring and management of corporate performance to ensure alignment with the Annual Operating Plan Targets.
Scorecard Development: Support the Supervisor in developing the Corporate and MD/CEO's Scorecards.
KPI Measurement & Reporting: Measure the quarterly achievements of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Prepare scorecard achievement reports to be presented to the Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC) on a bi-annual basis.
Sustainability Strategy Development: Assist in creating and implementing sustainability strategies that align with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
Environmental Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
Data Management and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on sustainability metrics and corporate performance indicators.
Strategic Management and Advisory: Assist the Supervisor in providing strategic management and advisory to senior management on Business Sustainability and Performance through performance analysis and insights to expose the cause-and-effect relationships.
Project Management: Oversee sustainability projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet budget and timeline constraints.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability efforts.
Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding and participation in sustainability initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving sustainability practices and corporate performance.
Management Meetings: Coordinate presentation materials and meeting agenda, monitor and drive the completion of action items raised in the meeting.
Board Meetings: Coordinate, review, and ensure timely submission of presentation materials to the Board / Board Procurement and Operation Excellence Committee (BPEC).
Any other task as required from time to time.
