Role Purpose:
The Assistant Manager, Talent & Excitement (T&E) will play a vital role in HR operations, impacting both day-to-day functions and strategic talent initiatives within the Sales & Marketing team. This role specifically supports the retail division and will be instrumental in ensuring a motivated, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and OnboardingLead recruitment efforts for interns, contractors, and retail staff.
Manage onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration and alignment of new hires with the company's values and goals.Employee Lifecycle ManagementOversee the entire employee lifecycle from hiring through offboarding, focusing on compliance, employee engagement, and smooth transitions.Retail-Specific HR NeedsManage recruitment and payroll verification for retail employees.
Facilitate year-end performance reviews and KPI setting to support and develop retail talent.Collaboration and Employer BrandingFoster partnerships with external entities, such as makeup schools and colleges, to maintain a strong talent pipeline.
Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates and reinforce the company's market presence.Employee Relations and EngagementSupport a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and promoting engagement initiatives to build a motivated, high-performing team.Budgeting and PayrollAssist in budget planning for retail HR functions, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time to maintain employee satisfaction.Reporting and Ad-Hoc ProjectsTrack and report on employee movements and trends, leveraging data for insights that inform business needs.
Manage ad-hoc HR projects to support ongoing organizational growth.Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition, HR management & development, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and engagement.
Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
Excellent communication and client engagement skills are required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite.
Entrepreneurial and able to work in a fast-paced environment with numerous stakeholders.
