Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Coordinate sea/air import shipments, sea/air/land export shipments and their respective documentations, customs clearance formalities and billings Coordinate with transportation vendors on shipment deliveries Troubleshoot operations issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner Oversee ground operational matters on transport vendors Manage IT issues and implementations Assist in supporting warehouse related matters Lead and motivate a team of operations executives to drive quality and performance and to meet KPI's Manage cost of operations effectively Progressively improve the efficiency of the operations Resolve all service level issues on a timely manner Plan, schedule and review team's workload Plan for training and upgrade of skills of team members Requirements:
Possess a minimum Degree and above in a relevant discipline Possess a minimum of 4 years working experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry Knowledge of customs declaration & Tradenet process is an advantage Knowledge in Sysfreight is an advantage Proficient in Microsoft office Possess good managerial and leadership skills Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience in managing and motivating people Positive, hardworking and a good team player Your application will include the following questions: Do you have freight forwarding experience?
