Responsibilities:
Devising procedures to inspect and report quality assurance issues.
Monitoring all operations that affect quality to assure compliance with external and internal requirements.
Responsible for incoming and outgoing inspection procedures to ensure quality/specification compliance and develop effective quality control processes.
Assure the reliability and consistency of production by auditing processes and checking final output.
Facilitate proactive/preventive solutions through quality data analysis.
Coordinate with departments concerning design changes and procedure/process changes.
Collaborate with production/process engineers, supervisors, and managers for immediate actions on reported malfunctions.
Work as a team with production, engineering, suppliers (SQE), and customers to improve product quality and operational productivity.
Represent and facilitate QA interface with key customers.
Lead, develop, and supervise the QA/QC team to ensure objectives and functions are met.
Prepare or review customer quality performance reports to ensure KMWE quality performance meets set targets.
Coordinate and lead internal teams to conduct RCA for all customer complaints and respond in a timely manner.
Implement systemic control to reduce and eliminate repeated quality issues.
Identify skill gaps of staff and develop competency through training needs planning and delivery.
Responsible for developing QA/QC engineers and technicians.
Work closely with the QA Manager on department goal setting, strategic planning, task assignment, and continual improvement (PDCA).
Collaborate with QMS on internal audits, review current standards, policies, and procedures associated with external standards such as ISO9001, 13485, AS9100, etc., to ensure all legal requirements are met.
Lead departmental projects for continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency.
Other duties as assigned by the QA Manager.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical & Electronic) or equivalent; or 2 to 3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialization in Quality Control / Assurance and Inspection.
Good knowledge of SPC, data analysis, root cause analysis, and 8D Report.
Able to issue and reply to customer complaints and 8D Reports.
Good understanding of ISO9001 & ISO13485 Standards.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Independent and multitasking skills.
