We are seeking an organized and customer-focused Assistant Reservations Manager to join our esteemed team.
The Assistant Reservations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the reservations department, ensuring the highest level of service and efficiency in handling guest bookings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel reservations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the reservations team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Oversee all aspects of guest reservations, from initial inquiries to confirmations and special requests.
Maximize room occupancy and revenue through effective inventory management and up-selling techniques.
Ensure all reservations are accurately entered into the hotel's property management system.
Monitor and analyze reservation trends and adjust strategies accordingly to meet business objectives.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest arrivals and special arrangements.
Handle guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
Train and develop the reservations team to maintain high standards of customer service.
Prepare and present regular reports on reservations performance and trends.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for hospitality.
