About the roleWe are seeking a talented Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team at PERUNDING ZAR SDN BHD, a leading civil/structural engineering firm.
In this full-time position based in Kelantan, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Providing on-site supervision and coordination of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
Monitoring construction progress and addressing any issues or deviations in a timely manner
Conducting regular site inspections and preparing detailed reports on project status, performance, and any concerns
Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving
Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings
Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team to resolve technical challenges
Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the civil/structural engineering industry
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
Thorough understanding of construction practices, quality control, and safety protocols
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management and documentation
