To be eligible for this role, you will require : Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in the cable manufacturing or electrical components industry.Experience with risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits in an industrial setting.Familiarity with environmental compliance and regulations specific to manufacturing.Knowledgeable of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.Strong communication skills for training and advising employees at all levels. Your responsibilities will be: To investigate any accident, near miss, dangerous occurrence, poisoning or disease. Develop SOP for safety, health and improvement aspect.To assist & arrange workplace safety audits and ensure any remedial recommendations are implemented.To perform accident investigation, near miss, dangerous occurrence, occupational disease in workplace. Follow up on findings raised and advise for the corrective action taken.To liaise with DOSH, BOMBA, and other related organization on safety issues and related applications.To always implement Company Rules and Regulation.To assist in preparing all required documentations including, but not limited to procedures, memos, minutes of meeting, slides presentation, schedules, budgeting and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate superior.To update/ follow up the communication logbook when or customer visit, DOE & JKKP inspection.To check/ verify the first aid record. Update the data & send to safety officer.To assist and ensure workplace is inspected at least once in every 3 months to determine any machinery, plant & equipment and environment are safe.To undertake other duties assigned or directed from time to time.
