Availability Management Senior SpecialistThe Senior Specialist will lead strategic initiatives towards maintaining the optimum performance, reliability, and availability of IT systems and services within the data center. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and optimize system availability, as well as managing and delivering operational tasks, initiatives, plans, and projects to achieve business objectives and desired outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Maintain tools to track system availability, performance, and reporting.
Analyze reports and metrics for trends and improvement areas.
Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and drive improvements.
Contribute to system availability improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with teams to maintain performance and enhance service reliability.
Document availability processes, policies, and incidents.
Develop best practices to minimize risks during changes.
Identify opportunities and industry trends for process improvements.
Develop and implement plans for financial coverage in underserved locations as part of the Financial Inclusion Framework.
Track and report on budget utilization.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and negotiations.
Liaise with regulators to present targets and progress.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in IT operations or systems management with a focus on system availability and experience in areas related to financial institutions and IT.
Additional Requirements:
Experience with application monitoring and/or observability systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a high demand, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
