? Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks
? Preparing and serving food items such as pastries etc.
? Tracking and ordering inventory for cafe and beverage supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, napkins and cups (inc: take out equipment supplies)
? Maintaining espresso machines, grinders, coffee machines and other equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs
? Keeping the work environment and working area clean, sanitary and organized
? Responding to and resolving customer concerns or complaints
? Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service
? Develop new drinks and refining the menu
? Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
? Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g.
preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
? Prepare beverages following recipes
? Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
? Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
? Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g.
in refrigerators/storing space)
? Managing inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring bar/brewing equipment and appliances to ensure they are in good working order
? Comply with health and safety regulations
? Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
