Location: Bangsar South, KL
Accept engineer dispatch requests from global customers to Japan area in English.
Request Japanese engineers to repair equipment (Server, Router, Switch, Storage, PC, other IT equipment) in Japanese language.
Interpret conversations between remote customers and Japanese onsite engineers during maintenance work via conference call.
Prepare necessary work procedures for engineers working on site.
Ensure all necessary information is ready by the start date of the work (e.g., checking site address, confirming parts shipment, ensuring links for conference calls are received).
Connect field and remote engineers using email or phone.
Manage cases from ticket creation to closure.
Create, update, and close tickets.
Extract and summarize necessary information from new requests in an easy-to-read and accurate manner.
Cover 24/7 with 10 existing agents. *Technical IT knowledge is not necessary.
10% of customer correspondence is via email, 90% is via telephone (interpretation between engineers).
This position allows for WFH 2-3 days a week, but we are looking for someone who can come to the office as there is a possibility of returning to the office fully in the future.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
MUST TO HAVE:
English and Japanese (Hearing, Speaking, Reading, and Writing). At least JLPT N2 certification.
Basic IT knowledge (software/hardware/server/network).
Ability to work night shifts (20:00-07:00) 1-2 times a month.
Any working experience.
PREFER TO HAVE (Advantage):
Understanding of geography in Japan (roughly where each prefecture is located).
