Introduction
The Global Business Development Team oversees new client acquisition and account management. The team is a fast-paced and dynamic unit focused on sales transactions for the company. The key goal of the team is to launch, innovate, and scale our corporate travel solutions. The senior business development manager's primary focus will be identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders of global multinational companies and small-medium enterprises, developing the sales strategy, and managing the sales funnel within designated market(s) to secure new agreements for Trip.Biz.
In this Role, you'll get to
Promote Trip.Biz's awareness and corporate travel solution to the designed markets.
Secure new agreements with global MNCs and SMEs and facilitate the onboarding process.
Plan, develop, and execute the sales plan to deliver key results.
Collaborate and consult with corporate clients to extend relationships, increase user adoption of Trip.Biz's Travel Solution, and optimize their investment.
Collaborate across Trip.Biz and Trip.com Group internal teams including product, finance, legal, R&D, service, and marketing teams to meet client expectations and secure new agreements as well as client retention.
Work closely with business leads in both global and regional teams to drive revenue growth.
Deliver against assigned quarterly goals while prioritizing and delivering excellent client service.
Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to formulate and refine the product roadmap, sharing partner and industry feedback with PM/Eng to tailor our approach.
Lead projects and initiatives as required, guiding cross-functional teams to achieve established goals and deliverables.
Perform research, quantitative analysis, and modeling as necessary to enable key business decisions.
Represent Trip.Biz in destinations to increase brand awareness and interact with local partners through seminars, sales activities, trade show participation, and industry/partner events.
Prepare presentations and all necessary reports.
Assist in additional tasks and projects as needed.
What you'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree or above, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate development, business development, or a related field.
Experience in a reputable global/local Travel Management Company (TMC), airline sales function, or B2B/Wholesaler sales function is preferred.
Detail-oriented with a fast learning capacity.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to adjust communication methods depending on stakeholders.
Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, and other related software to assist with day-to-day operations.
Willing to travel if needed.
