Our client "Newpages Network Sdn Bhd" is seeking an CFO  join their company!   What you'll be doing? • Oversee  the  full spectrum  of  the finance  and  account division  including  financial and management reporting of the company such as controlling functions in treasury, accounting, cash-flow management, financial forecasting, budgeting, tax, and audit activities to support the  company's  growth and  profitability  goals to  achieve  overall company  mission and vision. 
• Responsible for all kinds of audit and tax-related matters and for advice and/or proposing the correct treatment to the Management and accounting team. 
• Prepared feasibility studies for business developments projects such as the acquisition of banks, businesses, and target markets. 
• Monitor financial  performance  by measuring  and  analysing results,  initiating corrective actions, minimizing the impact of variances, and developing improvements. 
• Perform  risk  management through  analysis  of company  liabilities  and investments and evaluate  and  manage capital  structure  and fundraising  initiatives  such as  debt financing with bank/finance institution. 
• Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion. 
• Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities and maintaining relationships with the investment community. 
• To formulate short and long-term financial goals to include financial planning, forecasting, financial modelling, assess the company financial viability of potential projects, merger, and acquisition due diligence/ acquisition valuation analysis. 
• To ensure that all financial and accounting reports are in accordance with the Malaysian General Accepted  Accounting  principles including  relevant  Tax authorities  and  Central Bank regulations. 
• Liaise  with  auditors, tax  agents,  lawyers, bankers,  and  other consultants.
•Coordinated effectively and efficiently with these external resources to achieve the desired outcome of projects. 
• Build a synergistic relationship with other relevant authorities and parties such as bankers, vendors, government bodies. 
• Attend to a government agency on certain initiatives, certification, incentives/grants, and specific project. 
• Managing company's investor relation matter and publicity management by engaging with investor relation agency to issue public press release and statement. 
• Perform any other duties as assigned or required from time-to-time.
Who?are?they?looking?for? • Possess at least bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field and a member of a professional accounting body including membership MIA/ ACCA/ CIMA/ MBA/ CPA. 
• At  least  10  years  of  experience  in  an  accounting,  business  or  finance  environment  with several years of management experience. 
• Experience in managing corporate reporting, financial management, cash management processes, taxation, managing audit and risk management processes, managing wider corporate services, strategic and business planning.  
• Preferable experience in stakeholder management especially Bursa, external shareholders/investors, and external financing parties is preferred. 
• Big 4 or Mid-tier audit firm experience will be an added advantage. 
• Agile and business acumen. 
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. 
• Detailed oriented and thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development. 
• Experience in controller capacity in public listed company in Malaysia. 
• Good knowledge and understanding of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards is a must. 

Skill Set: 
· Able to work independent with strong sense of responsibility. 
· Good communication skill. 
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
