We're seeking a dynamic C&B Specialist to own and elevate our payroll processes, ensuring staff satisfaction. You'll be a champion for our people, shaping localized policies, guaranteeing compliance, and guiding staff through payroll, ESOP, and taxes.
As a key player in our growing global C&B team, you'll have full ownership of the Malaysia markets. This means single-handedly managing payroll, taxes, manpower regulations, insurance, onboarding, and contracts. You'll also be the voice of your region, influencing our global strategy to ensure fairness and cohesion across all our teams.
Minimum Qualifications3-5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits Administration, Payroll, and in-depth analysis.
At least 3 years of experience in a C&B role for Malaysia.
Strong understanding of local tax and welfare contributions in the Malaysia, with the ability to independently calculate contributions and ensure compliance (e.g., IRB and Department of Labour).
Strong understanding to maximize the Malaysia HRDF utilization
Proven track record of independently managing end-to-end payroll processes with meticulous accuracy.
Deep experience in employee insurance program management, including design and optimization.
Proficiency with HRIS systems (BambooHR experience is a plus).
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, using functions like INDEX/MATCH, FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT, DATEDIF, EDATE, EOMONTH, NETWORKDAY, WORKDAY, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, SUMPRODUCT, etc.
Ability to create clear, insightful data visualizations and presentations.
Skilled in using Google Slides/PowerPoint for effective and well-structured presentations.
Preferred QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in a C&B role for SEA Country
Has work experience in startup or fintech industry
Strong understanding of local tax and welfare contributions in SEA Country
Knowledge of consultant/contractor regulations and calculations in SEA Country
Experience in processing immigration applications for foreign staff, including renewals.
Demonstrated experience in automating tasks and processes to drive efficiency.
