Job Responsibilities:Review and enhance the existing policies and procedures to ensure consistency with regulatory requirements and internal expectations as well as commensurate with risk exposures.
Prepare department's periodic and ad hoc reports.
Evaluate effectiveness of business units' operational control measures and work with the business units to address the identified gaps.
Provide trainings related to compliance (including AML/CFT) and risk management, in accordance with department's plan and as directed by Head of Department.
Prepare, in a timely manner, the documents and information in responding to the request and queries by auditors and regulator.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of law enforcement requests, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
Other Compliance and Risk Management projects and tasks as assigned by Head of Department.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 to 4 years work experience.
Experience in the compliance or regulatory work environment preferred.
Experience in AML/CFT would be a value add.
Good communication (verbal/written) and customer service skills.
Possess strategic, investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills – inquiry, analysis, interviewing, and testing.
Proficient with Word and Excel.
