The Construction Manager is responsible for the overall management of the project performance from inspection to completion phase to ensure the delivery of high quality services offerings within the set budget and project timeline. He is the key contact person in maintaining liaison with the client, main contractor and consultants and takes a lead roles in ensuring alignment of work systems and processes are achieved in accordance to set performance standards. Monitor the actual project progress against budget/forecast and ensure the implementation of appropriate actions that will lead to the achievement of project targets.
Key Responsibilities Establish project criteria and objective with the client's requirements and prepare the necessary project brief to translate into a conceptual plan. Prepare a probable project time schedule that coordinate and integrates the scope of services of the main contractor and other Specialist Consultants. Monitor the project time schedule, update and refine periodically. Coordinate and supervise the administration of Project Contracts and coordinating all the construction works of the main contractor and Specialist Consultants in accordance with the client's specifications to economize on cost, time and quality. Attend progress meetings with the main contractor, Specialist Consultant and other relevant parties to review progress and problems. Monitor the Project Schedule, identify potential variances between scheduled and probable completion dates and propose necessary adjustments. Maintain budgetary control of the project, monitor regularly the approved project cost, identify variances between actual and budgeted cost and make recommendations for corrective action. Arrange for the preparation and completion of the final accounts including the settlement of all variation orders for submission to the main contractor. Requirements Bachelor's degree / Diploma in civil engineering or equivalent Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods. knowledge in Interior Design and Civil & Structure Excellent time and project management skills Persistent and capable to work under pressure Language(s) : English, Bahasa and Mandarin both written and spoken Company Benefits Casual working environment EPF, SOSCO & EIS, Medical Claim Annual Dinner and Company Activities Your application will include the following questions: How many years' experience do you have as a construction manager?
