Job Responsibilities:
Support the origination and execution of corporate finance advisory mandates, including business development and inter-departmental coordination to identify opportunities with existing and new clients.
Strong in origination with good corporate finance experience; expected to work independently with business partners in deal origination.
Structure and execute complex corporate finance transactions; possess knowledge of Malaysian regulatory processes, including SC Equity Guidelines, CMSA, Bursa Securities Listing Requirements, and SC Rules on Take-Overs, Mergers, and Compulsory Acquisitions.
Focus areas include local and cross-border M&A, privatisation, Malaysian and cross-border IPOs in Singapore and Hong Kong, and equity fundraising.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Capital Market Services Representatives Licence issued by the Securities Commission, Malaysia.
Good university degree or Masters, preferably in accounting, finance, or business.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance/investment banking or relevant corporate experience.
Experienced in originating and successfully executing deals for private or public entities.
Familiar with various valuation methodologies, including DCF.
Able to undertake financial analysis with guidance, including performance and health analysis.
Able to manage corporate finance deals independently with some guidance.
Efficient and able to work under pressure and extended hours when required.
Possess a good networking base and strong interpersonal/presentation skills.
Passionate about deal-making and driven to excel.
A good team player who maintains positive working relationships at all levels.
Ability to converse/write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
