Costing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for various product models.Oversee and update customer LOA pricing to ensure it aligns with contractual terms.Track and monitor Purchase Price Variance (PPV), working with procurement to minimize discrepancies.Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for products and projects.Analyze actual costs versus estimates, providing recommendations for cost control and improvement.Collaborate with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to ensure effective cost management across product models.Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the production process.Support project/program teams by managing analytical worksheets related to buffer stock, safety stock, risk buys, costing, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in costing or pricing in a manufacturing environment.Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro). Key Skills: Excellent Excel skills with strong proficiency in managing and analyzing data.Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.Ability to manage cost down/up activities effectively.Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Strong negotiation skills for dealing with both external and internal stakeholders tomaximize company benefit.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
