Key Responsibilities:Check consumer/businesses credit reports, approve or deny applications and communicate decisions to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Negotiate payment plans with consumers/businesses and set loan terms and conditions accordingly.
Maintain loan records, conduct regular analysis of the credit-control system and implement changes as needed to reduce bad debts.
Report any payment issues to management or the appropriate team.
Reply promptly to client questions and concerns received by voicemail or via written communication.
Follow up on overdue invoices and payments and implement company collections procedures as necessary.
Look for ways to improve debt collection processes.
Initiate legal action against debtors who evade or refuse repayment according to the terms and conditions.
Job Requirements:At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accountancy Banking, Business, Marketing or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in the lift industry for maintenance sales, repair sales, credit collection and credit control.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and work to meet deadlines.
