**Overview:**
UMW Holdings Berhad is seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Care Specialist to join our team in George Town, Penang. **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Support:** Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- **Issue Resolution:** Identify and resolve customer issues efficiently, leveraging problem-solving skills to enhance the customer experience.
- **Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring open communication and prompt issue resolution.
- **Documentation & Reporting:** Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback to improve service processes and report trends to management.
- **Product Knowledge:** Stay updated on UMW Holdings Berhad's products and services to effectively assist customers and provide informed recommendations.
- **Negotiation:** Utilize negotiation skills to address customer concerns, handle refunds or exchanges, and improve retention rates.
- **Planning & Strategy:** Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective customer care strategies, contributing to process improvements and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- **Feedback Loop:** Gather customer feedback and provide insights to management for service enhancement and product development.
- **Training & Support:** Assist in training new customer care team members and share knowledge of best practices.
- **Flexibility:** Be prepared to adapt to changing customer needs and business objectives, providing coverage during peak times as needed.

**Requirements:**
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in customer service or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a confident demeanor in client interactions.
- Proficient in negotiation techniques to effectively resolve conflicts and retain customers.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills for managing customer cases and improving processes.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
- A high degree of adaptability and flexibility to meet the demands of a part-time work schedule.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for customers.
