**Job Description:**

British American Tobacco Malaysia is seeking a motivated and dynamic Customer Care Specialist to join our team in George Town, Penang. **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Customer Support:** Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding products, services, and company inquiries via phone, email, and chat. Ensure all customer interactions are handled professionally and empathetically.

- **Issue Resolution:** Actively listen to customer concerns and resolve issues effectively; identify patterns in customer feedback and escalate complex cases to senior team members or management as necessary.

- **Data Management:** Maintain organized records of all interactions and transactions with customers using the company's platforms and system; ensure customer information is up to date and accurate.

- **Feedback Collection:** Gather and report customer feedback to help improve products and services; collaborate with internal teams to relay insights that contribute to customer satisfaction.

- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments such as Sales and Marketing to align customer service efforts with company initiatives and objectives.

- **Training and Development:** Participate in training sessions to enhance your product knowledge and customer service skills. Stay informed about industry updates and best practices in customer care.

- **Project Participation:** Assist in customer service projects or initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement. Contribute innovative ideas for improving customer experience.

- **Diversity Promotion:** Promote an inclusive environment in customer interactions, ensuring that all customers feel valued and respected, regardless of background.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:** A minimum of a high school diploma; an associate degree or relevant certifications is a plus.

- **Experience:** At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role or related field; experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.

- **Skills:**
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software. Familiarity with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) is essential.
- **Soft Skills:** Strong people management and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Personality Traits:** Resilient and adaptable; able to handle pressure and changing demands with a positive outlook.
