Role OverviewWe are seeking a creative and analytical Mid-Level Media Buyer with a strong passion for performance marketing and social media advertising. In this role, you will manage daily client communications, set up and optimize campaigns using Meta, Google, or TikTok ad platforms, and collaborate with our team to create strategic, results-driven action plans.
We want someone who blends creativity and data-driven thinking—a team player who's also proactive, independent, and resourceful. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in paid digital advertising and content creation, coupled with the ability to interpret performance metrics and derive insights to improve campaign outcomes.

Media Buyer (Mid-Level) Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and optimize media buying campaigns across various platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.).
Manage a diverse client portfolio, maintaining strong relationships through regular updates and meeting monthly targets.
Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders bi-weekly/weekly, providing progress reports and results analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the ad creation process.
Understand brand goals, identify target audiences, and pinpoint new audience opportunities.
Conduct competitive, consumer, and industry research to identify trends in behavior, messaging, and visuals.
Develop creative campaign roadmaps, defining key messages and angles to effectively convey brands' USPs.
Monitor, analyze, and interpret creative campaign performance data.
Write creative briefs and scripts, providing clear direction for creators, actors, and agencies.
Produce copy for internal marketing and client campaigns.
Troubleshoot underperforming ad creatives and campaigns, implementing solutions to enhance performance.
Manage content production and curation projects, coordinating models, videographers, photographers, products, and shoot locations.
Translate creative performance insights into actionable strategies and share learnings with marketing leadership and stakeholders.
Support the entire creative development cycle—including testing, iteration, hypothesis formulation, and performance analysis—to continuously refine campaigns.
Build recurring and ad hoc client reports and conduct internal account analyses, focusing on both performance metrics and creative development insights.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent; or at least 2+ years of relevant marketing/advertising experience.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in performance marketing, media buying, lead generation, e-commerce, or analytics.
Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager (Blueprint certification preferred).
Experience with Google Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager is a plus.
Content creation experience is an advantage.
Proven track record in landing page development.
Strong history of maintaining excellent internal, external, and client relationships.
Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin (additional languages are a bonus).
Ability to learn independently and solve problems using online resources.
Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and inform decisions.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Highly organized and proactive, thriving in both independent and team-based, fast-paced startup environments.
Understanding of performance marketing and KPIs, especially for e-commerce and lead generation campaigns (preferred).
Familiarity with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, WordPress, or similar platforms (preferred).
Experience managing monthly media budgets of RM20,000 or higher (preferred).
