Director –NFR Controls Lead

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a global banking and financial services provider within their Investment Banking division as part of our Post Trade Services Team, reporting to the COO, OTC Derivative Services as well as being part of the regional management team.
You will be part of a dynamic, high volume OTC Operations department, communicating with multiple teams and stakeholders both internally and externally.
This role involves liaising with various teams across Business and Operational lines ensuring that KPI's are met and reported on daily and KRI's are consistently reviewed to ensure they remain appropriate for the volume and value of business processed by asset class, such as FX, Rates, Credit Derivatives, Commodities and Equities.
Job requirements:
On a day-to-day basis the individual will be responsible for the management and oversight of the following external client responsibilities:
Responsible for the creation of key committee Control Packs as per required frequency.
Responsible for the review of all KPI and KRI MI as per required frequency to ensure the target levels are met.
Provide commentary on trends, risks, and issues to governance packs and the quarterly submission to the PRA.
Point of contact for client incident management, loss and near miss process.
Point of contact for and engagement in client NFR review of New Product/Business projects.
Point of contact for and engagement in client NFR review of Technology and Regulatory change projects.
Attendance at client NFR and Control meetings (above and below the line) as requested by the client.
Point of contact for client NFR day-to-day queries.
Lead and co-ordinate both internal and external audit requirements for the clients and DC (identifying self-identified issues and managing the resolution of any findings).
Be responsible for the review of daily/weekly/monthly MI reporting and take appropriate action on areas that are highlighted as outside of agreed levels with escalations as required.
Ensure all required KPI/KRI metrics are uploaded into the relevant reporting applications.
Ensure all procedure manuals are recertified on an annual basis and ensure any amendments to procedures are signed off by all interested parties prior to implementation.
On a day-to-day basis the individual will also be responsible for the management and oversight of the following Delta Capita responsibilities:
The service DC KRI production and monitoring process.
Planning and execution of DC RCSAs.
Planning and execution of NFR training.
DC Business Continuity Planning lead includes ownership of DC BCP plan and testing.
Oversight of DC incident management, loss and near miss processes.
Quality Assurance to ensure adherence to DC and client policies and procedures.
Ownership and Operation of the DC Service Risk and Control Committee governance meeting including agenda.
Monthly DC/Client meeting to discuss client BAU NFR matters e.g.
KRI reporting, NFR reviews, Incident Management process lessons learned, policies, procedure changes, etc.
Incident management/loss escalation to follow the protocol outlined within the client agreement.Required Experience:
Strong experience with Control Infrastructure and Frameworks (KPI's and KRI's Monitoring and Improvements).
Strong understanding of all aspects of the E2E process and trade lifecycle for OTC Derivatives.
Previous Operational Experience gained within Investment Banking.
Regulatory awareness across multiple jurisdictions.
Ability to work and manage resources in multiple office locations.
People Management.
Qualification and Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
10 years plus of relevant Control and Operational/OTC Derivative experience.
Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, multi-task and assess risk.
Ability to assess and build remediation plans and manage through to resolution.
Strong presentation skills.
Advanced Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Attention to detail.
Expectations Regarding On-Site and Hybrid Working:
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices, depending on the client) aligns with what our client's policies and expectations are, and these vary.This role would require being in the officethree days a week with flexibility based on business requirements.
