About the role
Malaya Glass Products Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an Electrician, AO, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
What you'll be doing Ensure all work is carried out with appropriate safety precautions and in compliance with ISO 9001:2008 standard maintenance practices.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.Carry out routine and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.Ensure all electrical appliances are functioning safely and repair any faulty appliances.Maintain good housekeeping in the electrical room, including the Genset, Transformer, HV, and LV Panel Rooms.Work on breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and routine maintenance of electrical equipment in the Batch Plant, Furnace Working End, Forheart, IS Machine, and Cold End.Assist the electrical maintenance department with daily tasks such as lighting and small appliances.Contribute to continuous improvement and upgrading project activities. What we're looking for Possess AO Chargeman certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing industry.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of power control circuits is an advantage.Physically capable of working in a factory environment.Able to join us immediately.Location: Perindustrian Tampoi, Johor Bahru.
