Engineer, Procurement

Job Responsibilities Ensure the overall effective operations and functions of the Procurement Department.Source and interview vendors; negotiate contracts and cost. (Update document New Vendor Registration). Maintaining and updating supplier information in SAP system.Determine the lowest cost for products/materials.Update supplier info / quotation once finalize and approval done by Top Management.Prepare Purchase Requisition (for investment  only).Perform any job as and when requested by the superior.Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.Manage Electro Mechanical procurement job scope.Willing to travel locally / overseas.Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or in any field.Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous working experience.Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully.Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.Well experience in EE component / Electro Mechanical. SAP/ Microsoft office (Word, Excel) knowledge is required.
