Scope of ResponsibilitiesScope of responsibility for Safety and Sustainability in accordance with the business operations of TPS.
Ensure all applicable legal and SDI requirements are identified and complied with.
Coordinate and monitor compliance with Group ESH policy, SDISB policy, vision, GPA B4 (ESH), strategies, and expectations.
Ensure compliance with the requirements of the ESH Management System.
Prepare reports on the monthly ESHMS performance for submission to SDISB's management – ESH for review.
Identify improvement opportunities and ensure continual improvement of ESH performance within TPS.
Establish ESH risk management and assist in implementing effective risk control measures.
Conduct incident investigations in accordance with the Incident Notification and Investigation procedure, ensuring corrective actions are followed up on and completed.
Ensure effective Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans are developed, implemented, and regularly tested at the TPS branch level.
Conduct monthly workplace inspections at the TPS branch level to determine any machinery or plant that can cause bodily injury or pollution to the environment.
Assist in organizing the ESH committee and implementing ESH programs at the workplace.
Serve as the secretary of the ESH committee at the TPS branch level.
Maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational diseases, and waste generation.
Coordinate ESH training and conduct internal ESH training.
Conduct Contractor/Visitor ESH briefings and monitor permits to work of contractors as required.
Coordinate ESH monitoring programs at the TPS branch level and monitor implementations of safety culture, including:
Right to Start (RTS) meetings
Safety interactions through the Noggin System
Hazard reporting through the Noggin System
