Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the department's daily operations and stakeholder engagements, as well as administrative functions and coordination in the department activities, meetings, maintaining OSHE documentation, projects, and initiatives are undertaken in an efficient, transparent, and adequate manner.
Job Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the development of OSHE documentations.
2. Monitor and update OSHE risk and incident record.
3. Plan and manage the arrangement of meetings and inspections involving OSHE to ensure compliance to legislation.
4. Maintain records and documentation related to safety activities (workplace assessments, hazard controls, training programs, and accident investigations).
5. Managing, purchasing and keeping record of distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or other safety supplies.
6. Responsible for communicating safety information to employees. (Bulletin and campaign)
7. Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents.
8. Establish and monitor the department's filing and record system in sync with the Division's filing system.
9. Monitor, keep track, and report the utilization of the department's budget and training record to ensure compliance with the Division's expectations.
10. Contribute to the running of every section, including meetings, programs, audits, and inspections.
Qualification & Work Experience 1. A Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health/ Environmental Science or a related discipline, with a minimum CGPA 3.00 from a reputable University/College
2. Certified and Registered OSHE practitioner with DOSH/DOE or other related institutions is an added advantage.
3. At least 2 to 5 years of working experiences in a similar environment.
4. A flexible multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
