Job Purpose
Arrange, manage, lead and control the operation's shift per the dedicated/ approved shift schedule by optimizing available resources at the optimum operation level in compliance with PETRONAS and applicable statutory requirements with regards on safety and at the best quality within the framework of standard operating procedures and key performance standards to ensure customer's comfort and satisfaction.
Main Accountabilities
Direct report to Head Operation.
Lead and control operation's shift and chilled water plant's operation on a day-to-day basis.
Oversee Panel Operator (PO) and Field Operator (FO) daily work and compliance to the PETRONAS, statutory & regulatory requirements and chilled water supply agreements.
Manage and control operation's Permit to Work (PTW).
Propose and participate in initiatives to the plant's operation for Unit Utility Cost (UUC) improvement.
Review and finalize daily operation/ production report before submission to Head Operation.
Execute PETRONAS Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) rules and regulations for the plant to be operated in a safe manner.
Report immediately any misconduct to the CoBE, ZeTo or ABMS compliances of the staff during shift.
Collaborate with the Maintenance team in ensuring continuous and uninterruptable Chilled Water production.
Timely readiness of the chilled water billing data and information to Head Operation.
Report any technical issue in a timely manner to the respected department/ section structurally.
Requirements
1.
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering field.
2.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years' experience in various positions related to plant operations and planning in power generation, petrochemical, chemical, process, utilities or oil and gas industry.
3.
Technical/ Functional Skills:
Asset management (Large facility for operation & maintenance).
Process engineering and technology, multi-discipline engineering e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Process, Chemical, Certified Chargeman.
Techno-commercial, cost estimating and contracting strategy.
