Who You Are:
We are looking for someone who is experienced and has good skills in failure analysis.
Position Summary:
Lumileds is seeking a highly qualified technician to take responsibility for partnering with FA Engineer in performing Failure Analysis (FA) and failure product testing in support of manufacturing and customer needs.
In this role, you will consolidate analysis results into reports, oversee maintenance activities, and perform calibration on analysis equipment in the Failure Analysis Lab.
Note:
This is a 1-Year Contract position.
Shift working hours (Day & Night based on schedule).
What You Will Do:
Assist Failure Analysis Engineer in providing failure analysis support to manufacturing and engineering development groups.
Responsible for performing failure analysis, keeping good records of analysis results and samples, and providing timely progress updates to FA engineers.
Capable of consolidating results into basic reports with clear analysis results summary.
Perform 6S in FA Lab.
Operate FA equipment, conduct regular maintenance, and manage respective consumables.
Assist FA Engineer in troubleshooting activities and developing improvement plans on equipment utilization.
Participate in quality/productivity/cost improvement programs in FA Lab.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
Experience with any of FA tools/techniques: IV curve tracing, micro probing, optical microscope, electroluminescence testing, chemical decapsulation, cross-sectioning, or SEM/EDX.
Must be able to work in Day & Night Shift hours accordingly.
Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Material Science or related engineering field.
Years of Experience:
1 - 3 years
Fresh Graduates in Diploma with relevant experience (e.g., lab work) are also considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Diploma from TAR College/Part 1 Engineering Council/Btec HND.
Diploma from Government Polytechnics or equivalent.
2 working years in the failure analysis field or analytical lab.
