The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.
Job Overview You will be responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting duties covering property development accounts.
Key Responsibilities Closing of monthly management accounts, prepare bank reconciliation and journal voucherCarry out Account Payable function including preparing payment voucher, cheque, obtaining authorized signatories, distribution of payment as well as monitoring cash and bank available balancesCarry out Account Receivable function including arranging for banking-in and updating of bank bookPrepare weekly and monthly management reporting and analysisPrepare audit and tax schedule; liaise with auditor and tax agent on further analysis where requiredPrepare budget vs actual report and cashflow forecastingData entry, filing and administration functionsUpdate fixed asset listing and monthly cost of depreciationPerform day-to-day accounting and finance functions in compliance to internal procedures, accounting standards and tax regulationsUndertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignments Requirements Candidate must posses at least a Degree/ Advance Diploma/ Diploma in Accounting/Finance/ACCA or equivalentFresh graduates or candidates with relevant working experience preferably in the property development industryGood interpersonal and communication skills
