Finance Executive (Accounts Payable)

Purpose of Role  We are looking for inspirational, dynamic and vibrant Finance Executive (AP) to join our forward-thinking admin team. The Finance Executive will take responsibility for the Accounts Payable function but will also assist the Finance Team with other general accounting and administrative duties as required.

Competitive salaryTuition fees discount for children of employeesMedical outpatient and insurance benefits Personal Accident insurance coverage Generous contributions to an Employee Provident Fund (EPF)  Key Responsibilities Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres by analysing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; scheduling and preparing cheques; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit note is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments.Pay employees by receiving and verifying claim forms and requests for advances, preparing cheques.Maintain historical records by microfilming and filing documents.Disburse petty cash by recording entry, verifying documentation.Prepare relevant reports required by management and holding company which include monthly management accounts, variance analysis, statistics, repair and maintenance cost, school activity costing, etc.Perform on timely basis the bank reconciliation, payment voucher, DN, CN and Vendor reconciliation, etc to ensure that they are supported by valid documents for processing.Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.Process the application of credit facilities involving new suppliers.Track and follow up with Account Receivable section with regards to reimbursement of CCA claims and field trips / excursion payment, ensuring all collections are accounted for before releasing of payments.Support purchasing tasks as and when requiredSupport the Management to resolve and trouble shoot on daily financial matters.Assist in the company's audits and taxation matters to ensure the full compliance to reporting deadlines, accounting standards and tax laws, which includes the preparation of relevant schedules to be provided to the auditors and tax agents to ensure their reliability.At all times adhere to holding company's and local management's policies, standard operating procedures, accounting system, internal controls system and reporting requirements. Perform any other jobs delegated by your superior and/or management from time to time. Skills, Qualifications and Experience Degree in Accounting or equivalent.At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Experience in audit and tax field is an added advantage.Familiar with ERP System and Microsoft Office. Strong accounting knowledge to deal with a range of reconciliations and analysis.Ability to deal with people at all levels.Impeccable attention to detail.Good English written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with staff and parents.Intermediate or excellent excel skills.Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong time management and multitasking skills, self-motivated, team player, result and task oriented with strong work ethics and positive attitude.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ISP Leadership Competencies  You consistently demonstrate and role-model the ISP Leadership Competencies in all that you do.
