About the roleWe are seeking a driven Finance Executive to join our team at HANS in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a full-time Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and reporting of our organisation. What you'll be doing
Preparing and analysing financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Assisting with the month-end and year-end close process
Performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data
Providing financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
Maintaining and improving financial policies, procedures, and controls
Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning activities
What we're looking for
Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 2-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry
Proficiency in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations (e.g. IFRS, GAAP) is an advantage
