The opportunity
Manage day-to-day operational finance activities (AP, AR and others), communicate with senior stakeholders across more than 10 countries and leading the team to meet daily KPIs through customer liaison.
Set clear objectives and guide team to achieve targets and performance standards, focusing on key deliverables besides addressing team performance issues promptly and in line with personnel policies; escalate service failures and implement corrective actions.
Respond promptly and efficiently to customer complaints and queries in a fast efficient and concise manner.
Continuously review operational procedures to identify and implement improvements.
Review and update work instructions and SOPs for all Finance tasks; provide training and refresher sessions to team members.
Drive innovation through the implementation of paperless processes and automation, fostering team development with personalized growth plans and best practice sharing.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Finance/Accounting/Actuarial Science or relevant field, solid technical skills in Finance, with at least 1-3 years of a team management experience.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, business partnering at different levels.
Customer-oriented with excellent people management and influencing skills.
Experience working in a shared service/BPO environment is an added advantage.
Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement; sets high standards and realistic goals, committed to deadlines, hands-on and effective leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience in training and mentoring, knowledge of business improvement methodologies, and support for departmental systems training.
