General Practitioner

Job OverviewPoliklinik Damai Sdn Bhd is a growing healthcare provider offering comprehensive medical services to the local community. We are looking for a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our team and provide high-quality healthcare to our patients. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic skills, a compassionate attitude, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed patient assessments and consultations to diagnose and treat various health conditions.Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, and infectious diseases.Provide preventive care through screenings, vaccinations, and health education.Perform minor medical procedures (e.g., wound suturing, drainage of abscesses).Coordinate and supervise clinic assistants and support staff to ensure patient satisfaction and smooth operations.Maintain proper and accurate patient records using clinic management software.Issue medical certificates (MC), referral letters, and prescriptions as required.Participate in rotational shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
 Qualifications and Skills:Recognized Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) from a reputable institution.Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience (new graduates will also be considered).Strong clinical diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic and managing multiple cases daily.Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
