They are looking for a Regional Finance Manager / Regional RTR Manager to develop and groom the team for their expanding business.
Job responsibilities include:
Ensure that adequate financial management procedures and systems are in place within the Company's Group.
Managing several teams of audit by countries, managing statutory accountant team, coordinators, coordinating audits with auditors, opco, and internal department External Advisor resources for supporting documentation.
Meet required KPI for audit documentation turnaround.
Identify new IFRS changes and provide knowledge sharing on implications and work with External Audit and Opco on identifying impact.
Work with Group Internal Audit and Controls and Compliance personnel to ensure strong internal controls / governance process exist.
Prepare Financial reports for quarterly and annual closings and ensure that the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
Responsible for the statutory audit and statutory accounts activities.
Comply with the financial reporting requirements of the Headquarters (monthly, quarterly and annual reporting according to IFRS, lease, and risk assessment, etc.).
Support the implementation of technology enablers to drive process harmonization and support continuous improvement projects.
Quality check control on the statutory accounts prior to release to Opco and auditors in accordance with IFRS, FRS, MFRS, MPERS.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Total years of experience should be a minimum of 13 years in accounting & Finance field.
Candidate from Big 4 background is advantageous.
Strong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards.
Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g.
ACCA/CPA/MIA.
Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively in English.
