Job Responsibilities
Operation of Glazing Equipment
• Setting up, operating, and monitoring glazing line machinery.
• Adjusting settings such as spray pressure, speed, and temperature for optimal coating application.
• Ensuring consistent application of glaze or coating on all products.
Material Preparation
• Mixing and preparing glazes or coatings according to specified formulas or instructions.
• Ensuring the correct glaze type is used for each product batch.
• Checking the quality and consistency of glazes before application.
Quality Control
• Inspecting finished products for uniformity, thickness, and adherence of the glaze.
• Identifying defects such as uneven coating, cracks, or discoloration and addressing them promptly.
• Performing routine tests to ensure products meet quality standards.
Maintenance and Cleaning
• Performing routine maintenance on glazing equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Cleaning machinery and tools after each production run to prevent contamination.
• Reporting any malfunctions or damage to the maintenance team for repairs.
Process Optimization
• Monitoring production processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Implementing adjustments to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Collaborating with supervisors to refine glazing techniques or equipment use.
Safety and Compliance
• Adhering to workplace safety regulations, especially when handling chemicals and operating machinery.
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) like gloves, masks, and goggles.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental standards for handling and disposing of glazes or waste materials.
Documentation and Reporting
• Maintaining records of production output, machine settings, and quality checks.
• Preparing reports on any issues encountered during the glazing process.
• Communicating production progress and challenges to supervisors.

• Familiarity with glazing techniques, equipment, and materials.
